Job Description

Currently, we have an opportunity for aConstruction/Municipal Survey Crew Chief – Winnipeg, MBwho, ideally, has experience in the both Construction and Municipal Survey sectors and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.The Work:

  • Legal surveys of subdivisions, condominiums, development permit applications, and real property reports
  • Construction survey layout of building foundations
  • Survey facilities, layouts, piles, and grading
  • Willing and able to travel out of town when the need arises
  • Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Follow safety protocol
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
What you bring to the table:
  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE
  • A desire for excellence in all that you do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
  • Experience leading a survey crew
  • Experience performing precise layout and control surveys
  • Experience working on industrial and commercial construction sites
