Your future role
  • Develop, implement and manage effective safety systems in collaboration with a team of professionals
  • Support site leaders in all safety-related aspects
  • Be the health and safety reference for site leaders
  • Ensure that newly identified risks are effectively managed
  • Deliver safety orientation training
  • Sit on joint health and safety committees
  • Promote Premier Tech’s Culture and Values
  • Set the example by observing health and safety practices
Required skills
  • Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • Strong collaboration skills to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
  • Valid class five driver’s license
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (an asset)
  • Bilingual in English and French (an asset)
  • Willingness to travel to worksites in Western Canada, Minnesota and Mattaponi, up to 40% of the time
