Join an innovative, growing, and diverse organization where your voice matters.THE POSITION:We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative NPI Engineer to join our team. The NPI Engineer will be responsible for managing the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring that they meet all performance, quality, and cost requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, supply chain, and production to transition products from development to full-scale manufacturing.HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT:
  • Lead the NPI process from concept to full production, ensuring that project timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) reviews to ensure products are designed for efficient production and testing.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to select and qualify suppliers for new components and materials.
  • Develop and maintain Critical to Quality (CTQ) documentation to ensure key quality requirements are met throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Oversee the testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet all specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the production process before full-scale manufacturing to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Work closely with other departments such as R amp;D, quality and operations to ensure a smooth transition of products from development to manufacturing.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the NPI process, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and risk assessments.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in new product introduction, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and product testing.
  • Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) methodologies.
  • Expertise in CTQ (Critical to Quality) documentation to define and control key quality parameters.
  • Experience in engineering drawing review and sign-off to ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and other CAD tools for design validation and process planning.
  • Experience with process validation, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical, planning, work team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
