Where an EE gap exists at the time of appointment, EE may be used as an appointment criterion for permanent and temporary appointments over six months made through this process.The CRA strives to offer employees a variety of flexible work arrangements to help them achieve work-life balance.What is the intent of this processWe are currently seeking talented candidates who self-identify as *Indigenous peoples and/or **Persons with disabilities to fill positions at various SP03 and SP04 opportunities at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).This staffing process will primarily be used to staff various full-time positions at the Winnipeg Tax Centre located at 66 Stapon Road, Winnipeg, MB. You can expect that all initial job offers will be temporary contracts generally ranging from 6-months to 1 year in duration, with the possibility of further extensions.The Canada Revenue Agency takes great pride in having a diverse workforce with wide-ranging skill sets. Some of the duties you may be required to perform may include:examination and correction of tax and information returns; processing of applications for social benefit programs; assessment and/or adjustments of individual client tax returns; validation and review if income and deductions claimed; updating and entering data into mainframe systems or personal computers; validation of returns and requests for refund; providing technical support to team members and review examined tax returns.Most positions require the use of various computer systems and programs, including but not limited to Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word and/or Excel.SP03 – Salary Range – $56,326 to $62,175 SP04 – Salary Range – $61,774 to $69,526CRA employees are required to work on-site for a minimum of two to three days per week, or 40–60% of their regular schedule as part of a common hybrid work model in the public service.In the case of candidates previously terminated or rejected on probation from positions within the CRA, please note that additional verifications will be conducted. Based on the reasons for termination or rejection, an applicant may not be considered further in the staffing process/considered for appointment, as they may be deemed to not meet one or more of the staffing requirements.
