Summary: Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Retail Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful day to day operation of a retail store department.Responsibilities:Provide supervision and leadership to the team members of the department, in partnership with the manager Delegate tasks and work assignment to team members by giving clear and concise direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution Foster the growth and development of team members by training various standard operating procedures and processes Ensure team members follow all standard operating procedures and systems processes, following up to provide correction and guidance when needed, and reporting violations to the manager Perform administrative tasks related to their assigned department Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off this analysis Promote company programs to team members and customers Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictateQualifications:Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment is preferred Open availability – this position will be required to work store opening and closing shifts, as well as on weekends High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations Ability to use good judgment and logic Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle Knowledge of Bass Pro Shopsamp; Cabela’s specific products is an assetBass Pro Shopsamp; Cabela’s welcomes applications from people with disabilities.Accommodations are available upon request during the assessment and selection process.BenefitsEnjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions!Fun work environmentCompetitive wagesExcellent benefitsUnlimited career advancement opportunitiesBass Pro Cares FundCabela #39;s
