Job Description

POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a licensed and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible to maintain and repair paint and corrosion booths, perform drywall and painting tasks, operate cleaning and prep equipment. Support facility cleanliness, complete special projects, and help meet performance goals.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Install, repair, improve, or maintain equipment used in all company locations.
  • Perform duties as communicated verbally written in English.
  • Cleanliness of plant and protection of company property.
  • Adherence to all established safety practices and procedures.
  • Set up and operate to prescribed tolerances, machines/tools required in the performance of his trade.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, operation and product related reference charts and tables and to select mechanical measuring, checking and layout tools and devices.
  • Plan and execute proposed mechanical installations from blueprints, sketches/specifications in a accordance with established statutes and regulations.
  • Instruct employees in a junior classification within the trades.
Requirements
  • Valid Manitoba Inter-Provincial Trade Certificate recognized by the Manitoba Labour Board
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining company property
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work within a team.
  • Must have proven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve to implement solutions as required.
