Job Description

MCI is North America’s public and private market motor coach leader. Further information is available at www.mcicoach.com.POSITION SUMMARY:This position will primarily focus on the maintenance of our facilities, including cleaning paint booths, performing building upkeep tasks, and assisting with painting projects as needed. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Clean and maintain paint booths and associated equipment such as filters to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness standards.
  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, painting, and repairing walls, floors, and other surfaces.
  • Assist with painting projects, including surface preparation, mixing paints, applying coats, and ensuring proper ventilation and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues, and address them promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and material usage.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and organized with 5S guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to operate above listed machinery as well as operate forklift, scissor lifts and boom lifts while adhering to safety practices and procedures.
  • A requirement to hold a valid driver’s license or successfully complete lift truck program.
  • Must be available to work at heights and confined spaces.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • To be able to work straight overnight shifts from 11:30pm - 7:30am.
