Job Description

Vector Corrosion Technologies (VCT) is looking for a skilled Marketing Events Coordinator to plan and deliver a wide range of event-based marketing activities—conferences, tradeshows, sales meetings, seminars, webinars, and internal team gatherings. Alongside event logistics, this role also provides day-to-day executive support to the President and partners with our marketing specialists when needed.We’re after someone who’s organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable guiding projects from concept through completion. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the company, keep event stakeholders aligned, and look for practical and impactful ways to refine our events over time.If variety appeals to you and you enjoy combining event planning with executive support, we’d love to hear from you. Your work will help create engaging experiences that strengthen our brand and connect with our audiences.

  • Implement and manage effective events-based marketing initiatives
  • Support executive administration initiatives as assigned
  • Support broader marketing team initiatives
  • Support the annual marketing/communications budget
  • Perform additional marketing/admin duties and accountabilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated marketing and/or communications experience.
  • Proven experience in event marketing and logistics
  • Experience in executive administration
  • Experience in B2B marketing, in industries like construction, engineering, and architecture, is preferred, although not mandatory.
  • Must have a valid driver #39;s licence with reliable transorpotation
  • Ability to do some light travel
  • Ability to do office work which includes, packing and shipping marketing materials such as booths, banners, and literature
  • Ability to multi-tasking – the ability to successfully manage multiple projects
  • Capability to work independently and the flexibility to handle changing priorities.
Skillsamp; Knowledge
  • Knowledge of current trends in marketing, data analytics, and social media
  • Proficient in English with strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Good research and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Collaborative and a creative thinker
  • Team-oriented with a growth and continuous improvement mindset
