Job Description

The Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the Materials department. Responsibilities include receiving, shipping, shop floor, planning, and all point of use locations.RequirementsWHAT YOU WILL DO:• Coordinate materials functions in a cell concept setting within a team environment including materials, manufacturing engineering, production, and quality assurance• Implement engineering change orders to released jobs. • Assist in the development, communication and deployment of departmental policies, guidelines, and tools to ensure success in all processes.• Assist in maintaining the material department budget with indirect labor, overtime, materials supplies, communication devices, and travel.• Monitor, measure, and meet all material measurements. • Monitor and reduce negatives to zero, monitor line entry schedule and part status prior to and during the build process. • Perform cell audits to ensure inventory accuracyWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: • Between 3- and 5-years’ experience in an inventory control position preferably within a manufacturing setting.• Experience with Oracle would be an asset.• APICS certification or currently enrolled in APICS programs. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines. • Effective communication skills both written and verbal. • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret information quickly. • Exceptional computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).BenefitsOUR WHY: We exist to move people.
