Job Description

POSITION SUMMARYAs a key member of our Quality Assurance team, this position will be responsible for ensuring our buses adhere and comply with our Internal Quality Control System.RequirementsWHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues
  • In-process inspection of production, fabricated and purchased materials
  • Final inspection of buses for delivery, investigate and communicate internally and externally on non-conformance issues and find resolutions to issues
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Ability to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments
  • Experience understanding and applying quality systems to drive and sustain improvements
  • Have great interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to product completion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word
  • Previous experience working with Oracle database system would be considered an asset
  • NDT certification would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
