Job Description

Treasury ManagerNFI is a leading global bus manufacturer of mass mobility solutions under the brands New Flyer® (heavy-duty transit buses), MCI® (motor coaches), Alexander Dennis Limited (single and double-deck buses), Plaxton (motor coaches), ARBOC® (low-floor cutaway and medium-duty buses), and NFI Parts™. POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, this position will play a critical role in overseeing NFI Group’s Treasury function, including leading weekly cash forecasting and liquidity management, covenant management and compliance reporting, risk management and derivative programs, and month-end Treasury Accounting activities. This position will support the global Treasury Roadmap initiatives for process improvement and alignment, and implementation of the GTreasury software system. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support daily cash management activities.
  • Champion NFI’s global Treasury Roadmap initiatives to standardize all Treasury processes.
  • Support the implementation of the GTreasury software system.
  • Develop and manage hedging strategies, including F/X and interest rate risk.
  • Coordinate with NFI’s Financial Planning and Analysis team to complete long-term cash flow and covenant forecasts, and financial position forecasts as part of the annual and long-term operating plans.
  • Research best practices and implement projects to improve NFI’s Treasury function.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Treasury, with executing all relevant requirements of NFI’s financing facilities’ agreements.
  • Oversee projects related to acquisitionsamp; Treasury integration.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related discipline.
  • Financial or Accounting designation is required for this position (e.g., CPA, CFA, or other Treasury related designation).
  • 8 years of direct relevant experience in a finance or treasury function.
  • Exceptional knowledge of accounting using a strategic approach to analysis and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team while managing multiple tasks at one time.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and other Treasury related software’s.
