Vice President, Business Developmentamp; Aftermarket ServicesThis role can operate either out of Louisville Kentucky, or Winnipeg Manitoba!NFI Parts™ is North America’s most comprehensive parts organization providing parts, technical publications, training, and support for buses and motor coaches. NFI Parts provides replacement parts for all subsidiaries of NFI Group, a leading independent bus and coach manufacturer and a leader in electric mass mobility solutions, including New Flyer® transit buses, MCI® motor coaches, Alexander Dennis buses, ARBOC® low-floor vehicles. Building on its 90+ years of parts experience, NFI Parts supports a combined fleet of over 75,000 active transit buses, motor coaches and cutaway vehicles. NFI Parts serves over 5,000 customers annually, with long-term relationships with over 17,000 customers from five parts distribution centers.POSITION SUMMARY: As the Vice President, you will play a critical role in growing NFI Parts’ revenue by identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities. You’ll lead a talented team across Marketing, Engineering Support, Services, Technical Training, and Publications, fostering a culture of innovation and growth. This position is a key member of the NFI Parts Executive Leadership Team (ELT), with a strong influence on the broader organization.WHY JOIN US:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Revenue Growthamp; Opportunity Pipeline:
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize revenue growth opportunities, maintaining an evergreen pipeline of initiatives.
  • Investigate new revenue streams and markets not recognized in current operations
  • Address and pursue new products and addressable markets, including acquisitions in collaboration with Sales.
  • Determine critical success factors and business attributes required to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Leadershipamp; Organizational Development:
  • Direct and maintain the Business Development organization to ensure continued growth and success.
  • Lead and develop teams in Marketing, Engineering Support, Services, Technical Training, and Publications.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging ideas and a “growth mindset” across the organization.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
  • Grow the all-makes Cutaway business and direct the buildout of the Amazon store business.
  • Oversee marketing activities, including tradeshows, formal bids, and brand strategy.
  • Actively contribute to the NFI Parts ELT and NFI Group ELT, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Complianceamp; Governance:
  • Ensure all internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) are designed and operating effectively.
  • Establish and enforce policies to meet regulatory, quality, environmental, and healthamp; safety standards.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years focused on business development, growth strategy, or revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and sales, with a track record of scaling organizations or business segments.
  • Extensive experience identifying and executing revenue growth opportunities, including new market entry, product development, and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining evergreen growth pipelines, setting critical success factors, and prioritizing opportunities for maximum impact.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls (ICFR), compliance, and regulatory requirements to drive sustainable growth.
  • Experience in e-commerce or digital business models (e.g., Amazon store development) is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and collaboration skills at the executive level, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
