As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients through meetings and personal visits. You will provide training and educational sessions in both group insurance and pension and ensure all service inquiries from customers are dealt with in a timely manner.You will create and execute annual client plans to meet client needs. This will involve monitoring benefit trends in the market, enabling you to effectively consult with clients in areas of plan design, cost containment, organizational wellness and other facets of benefit consulting, as required. You will also be responsible for the delivery and review of the client’s annual renewal.Additional responsibilities include participating in regional and annual client workshops, resolution of client issues, assessing needs of large-case clients, preparing client meeting reports and achieving annual retention objectives.Qualifications:Must be Life, Accidentamp; Sickness licensed within six months of the date of hirePreferably a minimum of three years’ experience in group insurance and/or pension plans within a sales or client service roleExceptional customer service skills, with the ability to develop strong partnerships with our clientsStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-taskEffective issue resolution skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExtensive travel is required to remote and non-remote First Nation and Inuit communitiesJohnston Group provides employee benefit solutions to over 30,000 companies, ranging from one employee to thousands across various product lines, including Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan, Canada’s #1 employee benefits plan for small businesses.
