Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operation and quality finishing is maintained. Review job orders to determine production time and quantities required. Various other duties and responsibilities.Qualifications Education and ExperienceCandidates must have one of the following:A Journeyperson Bookbinder certification; or Previously completed a Journeyperson apprenticeship; or 4+ years of current and relevant experience working as a Bookbinder or Bindery Operator.Technical SkillsCurrent and relevant bindery experience on machines such as:Cutter Saddle Stitcher Perfect Binder Collator Industrial Knives Hot Stamper, embossing, or debossingAdditional experience with the following would be beneficial:Foil stamping Electronic chip inlay Laser cutting LaminationExcellent mechanical and mathematic skillsSoft SkillsAttention to detail Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent analytical skills Passion for printingMandatory RequirementsAbility to work all shift schedules including days, nights, evenings, and overtime as required Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearanceAbout UsCBN designs and develops industry leading solutions for the following domains: Border Security, Civil Identity, Driver Identification and Vehicle Information, Currency and Excise Control, and Lottery and Charitable Gaming.
