You’ll ensure we have what we need to service our customers.As a Configuration Information Manager, you will manage the set-up, maintenance, implementation, and training of new and existing technical configuration control and related business information systems. You will analyze requests for new applications or improvements to existing technical configuration control programs, while coordinating with the systems applications group to define requirements, and ensure system changes are incorporated into training programs.What you’ll do:

  • Develop sustainable processes for ongoing testing, updates, and rollback of enterprise desktop software tools; ERP (SA Menu) and CRM (SalesForce)
  • Manage and ensure data integrity of technical configuration control systems including Power BI, SQL tables etc.
  • Continuously monitor quality and efficiency within the business using data (warranty, product rectification, customer satisfaction, etc.) for improvement opportunities across the business unit from a direct and support point of view.
  • Interact with the business unit strategic groups to select, manage, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop informational literature and user manuals and assists in the development of training material for technology-based or other business solutions.
  • Support the Quality function with all things Quality
  • Provides training on new and existing technical configuration control and related applications.; functionally manages on-the-job training activities for these applications.
  • Act as a focal point for communications on new and existing technical configuration control and related production business applications.
  • Actively participate in the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of strategic plans, budgets, goals and outcomes.
  • Carry out special projects as assigned.
The Skills you will use:Basic Qualifications
  • Understanding of technical configuration control technical data requirements to maintain appropriate business systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in business administration, computer science, or engineering; recognized professional accounting designation; or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering
  • Experience in systems analysis or business applications development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of company instructions, company processes and other internal procedures
  • Familiarity with SBU products and supporting technical publications.
  • Working knowledge of production management computer systems.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment, or airline maintenance.
