Reesink Dealer NetworkLawson Sales Position: ControllerLocation: WinnipegJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Lawson Dealership. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in full-cycle accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions. The Controller will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, maintaining financial stability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Must have experience in reporting to the Parent company through a consolidation software application to close, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end global finance performance results. Key Responsibilitiesamp; Accountabilities

• Full Cycle Accounting: Oversee the full cycle accounting process for our wholesale business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, Treasury, and general ledger management. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly review of key balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Cash Flow Forecast: Prepare and maintain a centralized cash flow forecast outlook for each operating company within the organization. Monitor and analyze cash flow trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Centralized Floorplan Management: Manage and optimize floorplan financing arrangements to support inventory needs and business operations.

• Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with operating companies to gather data and insights for accurate forecasts.

• Monthly Review and Annual Budgeting: Assist in the monthly financial review process and analyzing financial performance. Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, working with various teams to develop the budget.

• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and internal financial policies. Assist in the annual financial audit process.

• Software Proficiency: Utilize financial software and tools proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate financial records. Adapt to different software platforms as needed.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to drive financial success.

Working Conditions

• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Proven experience (5 years+) in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
