The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewThe major responsibility of the position is to perform tasks as a cook in food preparation and cleaning food preparation area.Experience

  • Prior experience and knowledge in coordinating food distribution.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Completion of a recognized course in Commercial Cooking and a minimum of 3 years #39; experience in a large-scale commercial cooking operation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Safe Food Handling Certification.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to apply food preparation knowledge with attention to food safety requirements, safe work practices, and Health Regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing staff.
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines under pressure.
Physical Requirements
  • The incumbent is normally required to work rotating shift, including statutory holidays and weekends.
