Your RoleAs Financial Systems Analyst, the successful candidate will be a key team reporting to the Financial System Delivery Manager. This position will analyze the financial integrations from the operational software and the impacts on the financial system. The financial system analyst role will be responsible for maintaining the financial system, assisting users, troubleshooting/problem solving, enhancement projects and updates. Your passion for continuous improvement will contribute to the team’s business objectives to develop, expand, and maintain our financial solutions.Day to Day
  • Build end to end transaction process, integrations mapping and procedures to understand the flow of integrations from one system to the other to assist in being able to review and resolve issues.
  • On going system administration such as user administration and configuration of the system to meet business needs.
  • Coordinating and executing tests when systems change, both the system itself when upgrades and patches are performed, and changes to integrations to the financial system.
  • Managing on going upgrades, patches and requested changes to the system by working with the vendor and creating process documentation to support training and troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-going support on finance-based system.
  • Ensure data integrity across integration processes.
  • Perform ad hoc accounting duties as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e., AgriBusiness, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Accounting Information Systems).
  • Experience in financial systems analysis, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Deep functional knowledge in Finance (A/R, A/P, Invoicing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash, Bank Recs and Budgeting).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel provincially and interprovincially if required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the agricultural industry.
  • Experience with Business Central or a similar financial application.
  • Experience with Jet Reports.
