The Winnipeg Football Club is looking for an experienced, daytime housekeeping staff. Hours range beginning as early as 6am with shifts varying based on business needs and event schedule. Essential Dutiesamp; Responsibilities- Perform daily housekeeping duties (wiping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping) including offices, locker rooms, banquet rooms and various areas throughout the facility (interior and exterior)- Manage time effectively, with a high degree of quality to ensure daily checklists and work is completed to a satisfactory level- Ability to problem solve on daily priorities and tasks - Perform daily recycling/trash collection- Preparing and cleaning the facility for and during major/minor events – Bomber games, concerts etc.- Adhere to high standards of cleanliness- Maintain/clean all housekeeping equipment/tools- Other projects as necessaryRequirements- 3 plus years of experienced housekeeping- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak, read, write in English- Ability to promptly respond to all radio calls and take immediate action- Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 20 pounds- Physical ability to meet the position demands - must be able to climb ladders, carry, walk, sit, bend, push, pull and move continuously while working- Must be an honest, detailed orientated, dependable person with an excellent attendance record- Ability to work independently and take initiative- Positive attitude and strong work ethic- Ability to work within a fast paced environmentJob Type: Full-timeThe Winnipeg Football Club welcomes applications from qualified individuals from all backgrounds and abilities.
