We are hiring a General Construction Labourer to assist with various tasks on our construction sites. The role involves site preparation, loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools, and supporting skilled workers such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. The ideal candidate is physically fit, able to follow instructions, and has a strong work ethic.Responsibilities:• Help prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up materials, and organizing tools and equipment.• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment• Use hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, drills, and saws, to assist in construction tasks• Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with tasks like measuring, cutting, lifting, and assembling materials.• Keep the construction site clean by removing debris, sweeping floors, and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.• Perform tasks as directed by supervisors or project managers to ensure smooth project progress.Job Requirements:Requirements:• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is an asset.• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Languages: EnglishCompetitive hourly wage with opportunities for advancement.Benefits: Free ParkingPay: 25.50 CAD/hourJob Type: Full time and Permanent Address: 366 Avenue Henry, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P3Vacancies: 03How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their experience and qualifications to adelzahra786@gmail.com.
