Failure to complete the questionnaire by the due date will result in your elimination from this selection process.Candidates who have passed all stages of evaluation and who are selected must complete the Correctional Training Program (CTP), which includes two (2) online training phases and a 14-week in residence training phase at the CSC Training Academy in Kingston, ON, Summerside, PEI or another training site.ALLOWANCE FOR RECRUITS (TRAINEES)Correctional Service of Canada recruits receive an allowance of $400/week, up to a maximum of $5,600 for 14 weeks, during Stage 3 of the Correctional Training Program. This allowance, paid bi-weekly, is in addition to the room and board fees already covered for recruits at this same stage of CTP.Indigenous candidates may be eligible for additional funding through an Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ISET) stakeholder.
