Assist the Operators with the preparation of all orders for the shift to minimize the amount of non-productive time and production scrap. Assist the Operators with the running of the MultiBarrier or slitter line with emphasis placed on the support functions associated with the operation of the machines, including resin management, order preparation, raw material availability, scrap removal, housekeeping functions and packaging. Work with the operators to develop operational skills, with a focus on standard work and supervised learning. Assist with both the simple and regular routine maintenance of the equipment under the direction of the Operators or Supervisor. Conduct routine safety,quality and housekeeping checks. Assist in completing department documentation as assigned. Maintain the department and surrounding areas following prescribed housekeeping and 5s standards. Operate forklift equipment and material handling equipment such as overhead hoists and roll manipulators. Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company. Interact with all levels of the operation in support of process improvement activities. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner compliant with ISO 9001 standards and the SQF Code.
