Business and Scheduling Analyst New Flyer is North America #39;s heavy-duty transit bus leader with various locations in North America. Offering the most advanced product line under the Xcelsior and Xcelsior CHARGE brands. It also offers infrastructure development through New Flyer Infrastructure Solutions, a service dedicated to providing safe, sustainable, and reliable charging and mobility solutions.POSITION SUMMARYThe Businessamp; Scheduling Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and distributing various manufacturing performance reports and presentations. The successful applicant will also be responsible for interpreting the output of the reports and providing constructive feedback regarding performance improvement to the Manufacturing Leadership Team.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Plan weekly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with Plant Managers. Prepare and distribute weekly Manufacturing Signature Summary report, summarizing sales plan attainment and recovery plans. Prepare and maintain quarterly bus delivery plan, monitor, and verify deliveries with Finance department. Develop and distribute “customer friendly” production schedules as required. Maintain all quarter-end reporting and documentation, and track quarter-end deliveries. Completion of detailed line entry schedules for manufacturing facilities. Prepare and adjust monthly labour forecasting matrix to reflect latest Master Production Schedule revisions. Co-lead daily Production status call and assist with follow-up of issues preventing sales and manufacturing performance. Work with Manufacturing leadership and supporting departments to prepare and finalize PowerPoint slides for various presentations. Participate in various improvement initiatives relating to manufacturing and internal processes.WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:University or college degree in Business or Engineering. A combination of education and experience may be considered. 2-3 years in a Production-related function required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability interact with all levels of the organization. A self-starter, with a focus on continuous improvement, that can work with minimal supervision. Strong time management and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail. Experience with Oracle would be an asset. Proven experience in analyst work would be an asset.
