Further information is available at www.nfigroup.com.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for supporting the continuous improvement of Finance processes and implementing solutions to maximize department efficiencies by supporting operational activities and projects/enhancements associated with NFI’s financial consolidation, planning and reporting applications (Oracle EPM Cloud).WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Leading core system administration functions for NFI’s cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications (financial close and consolidation, account reconciliation, planning and budgeting, narrative reporting).
  • Ensuring continuity of all EPM applications by updating systems’ chart of account members and associated mappings from the guidance of Finance and Tax leadership.
  • Supporting the Financial Planningamp; Analysis team with developing and standardizing business unit reporting.
  • Completing various ad hoc tasks such as user administration, data integration tasks, training, documentation and more in all EPM applications.
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of business processes, the information/data required and generated by these processes, and the computer application functionality that ensures these processes are cost-effective and efficient, especially within EPM.
  • Organizing and facilitating meetings and interviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the business through reviews and assessments of current business processes and systems with subject matter experts in Finance and Tax.
  • Assisting in business process conversions and implementation plans for local and remote sites.
  • Supporting acceptance testing of system enhancements and monthly patch updates to ensure system functions in accordance with detailed specifications and internal audit requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with the functional areas to support system enhancements with Finance Leadership.
  • Developing and applying team’s Standard Operating Procedures (templates, metrics, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA designation is an asset.
  • Project management and/or business analysis training is an asset.
  • 3-5 years #39; experience in enterprise or accounting business systems.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Knowledge of agile and waterfall application delivery methodologies an asset.
  • Knowledge business process redesign or re-engineering is an advantage.
  • System configuration and/or development knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
