Your RoleAs a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leveraging expertise in data warehousing and Structured Query Language (SQL) Server to develop and implement effective BI solutions, with a focus on maximizing the functionality and performance of Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to drive business insights and processes. Day to Day
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of data warehouse solutions using SQL Server, incorporating star schema and dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Design and implement complex ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, including predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis to uncover insights and drive informed decision-making.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information System/Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a data warehouse/Business Intelligence development position, specializing in Microsoft technologies.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL programming, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience with ETL development and maintenance.
  • Thorough understanding of dimensional modeling principles and experience implementing star schema designs.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Agricultural industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Fabric.
