  • This position is a full-time opportunity based in Manitoba, Winnipeg.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Requirement: Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • This is an on-site position.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dealership business model and is willing to champion the service transactions for the dealership. The Opportunity:Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for all service transactions including repairs, work orders, and warranty claims, and are done in a timely manner.Why work for Reesink Dealer NetworkWorking at LAWSONS, an Operating Company under Reesink Canada you be part of a winning and growing team; We are one of the largest agricultural equipment distributors in Canada. Providing first-in-class customer service and sales to build long-term relationships. In a typical day, YOU will:
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • In-shopamp;and in-the-field service repair
  • Warranty repairs and claims management
  • New, used; rental equipment preparation
  • In-shop reconditioning and re-manufacture of equipment
  • In-shop reconditioning and re-manufacture of components
  • Wrecking and used parts recovery process
  • Customer dispute resolution
  • Housekeeping in the shop
  • Enforcement of policies and procedures
  • Shop tooling maintenance and repair
  • Management reports
  • Employee training and development
Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the Heavy-Duty Equipment industry.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience in the Heavy-Duty Equipment industry.
  • Proven ability to influence change and effectively lead projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with CDK ability to operate PC-based software, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Valid Driver #39;s License.
  • Clean Driver #39;s Abstract.
  • Real Seal Heavy Duty Technician License is an asset
  • Experience in supervising in a unionized environment
Working Conditions / Physical Demands:
  • Requires ability to spend long periods of time sitting or standing at your workstation.
  • Ability to climb a flight of stairs to access the office.
  • Much of your time will be spent on the phone or computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing/walking for 8 hours.
  • Lifting and/or carrying of Parts, as required, on a regular, frequent, and unassisted basis.
  • Parts items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.
