Job Description

The Recipe Rebel has been providing families with easy, comfort food recipes for more than 10 years! I’m a home cook who loves to create recipes that can work for anybody – they’re easily customizable and I encourage people to put their own spin on them. We love cozy, comforting meals and decadent desserts just as much as we love finding healthier ways to enjoy the foods we crave. We have an average monthly reach of 10-20 million and serve 3-5 million website users every month.We’re looking for a social media manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys social media, strategizing and analyzing the data to determine the best content to serve our audience’s interests. They will report directly to the Content Manager.This is a remote, contract role for 10+ hours weekly, and will require the person to be based anywhere with PST-EST timezones.What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and website traffic
  • Manage and create content for social media channels, including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube.
  • Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all channels
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting new strategies to increase engagement and reach
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Tailwind, Manychat, Grocerslist and Canva
  • Ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategy
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
