The warehouse clerk ensures that all material is properly received and placed in its designated area. He is also responsible processing and shipping material for ensuring the replenishing of material, the tidiness as well and the good functioning of the yard and warehouse.Here is a preview of your day-to-day:
  • Receiving and placing materials and equipment orders.
  • Handling material on lifts about 65 % of the time.
  • Preparing and shipping certain materials and equipment.
  • Ensure an efficient loading/unloading.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and tidiness of the yard and warehouse.
  • Process requests and ship supplies to the required locations.
  • Assist in the proper maintenance and replenishment of inventory if required.
  • Work in close collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Support your colleagues in the warehouse.
  • Any other tasks to support the warehouse staff.
A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position:
  • Being able to lift heavy loads, up to 25 kilos.
  • Have a good sense of responsibility and autonomy.
  • A teamwork mindset;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office suite
  • 30 hours per week, monday to friday (7h to 3h30)
  • Experience in telecom is an asset
  • Warehouse experience and forklift license are required.
