Job Description

Purpose:

  • To execute all systemamp; communication related activities to ensure that we have on time availability (OTA) to our NAM Distribution Centers and that orders will be fulfilled on time and in full (OTIF). This should all be in accordance to wholesale customer requirements (e.g. availability creation, stock allocation, delivery note release etc.), whilst ensuring compliance to business prioritization rules, with an emphasis on our alliance key accounts.
Key Responsibilities (Functional):
  • Work with and support other Order Fulfillment functions such as WHS Excellence and help improve our On Time Availability (OTA) and On Time in Full KPIs (OTIF) for our key alliance customers.
  • Provide consumer and customer centric service for key business stakeholders. This includes helping to lead monthly meetings with our sales and account operations teams.
  • Provide reporting transparency and analytics regarding orderbook performance, both actual/historical as well as projected performance to support decision making. This reporting will be shared monthly with sales and account operation teams.
  • Support external meetings with our key alliance customers that will entail discussions around shipping efficiencies and cost reduction.
  • Enable customer deliveries against commercial requirements according to business principles and priorities.
  • Support key system tasks in SAP such as allocation, delivery note creation and backorder/season cleanse jobs against defined rules, schedule and monitor results.
  • Execute mass sales order updates such as rejections for dropped articles, date changes, or plant changes for migrations.
  • Review orderbook correctness ensuring data integrity for SCM systems/processes through sales order maintenance.
  • Support testing for all system release changes, keep test-scripts updated and document all processesamp; procedures in the Order Fulfillment Manual

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • In depth knowledge of supply chain mechanicsamp; KPIs (OTA and OTIF)
  • Operations as wells as customer focused mindset
  • Excellent knowledge of Customer Service processes
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as prioritizes and complete tasks in order of importance
  • Advanced Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc
  • Strong skills in ERP (SAP)/WMS systemsamp; Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful relationships within a team and cross-functionally
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively use decision making skills, confidently handling ambiguous situations and/or issues that may arise
  • Ability to effectively present information to an individual or group, both written and verbally
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • A university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, information systems, logistics or operations
  • Two to three years of work experience in supply chain management
  • Strong skills in ERP (SAP)/WMS systemsamp; Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
