Job Description

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Medical Secretary/Administration Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical/health care setting with strong established working skills in computer data inputting, invoicing, dicta typing of medical reports, and public relations skills preferred. Previous experience dealing with patients/clients in a health care setting preferred.
  • Analytical skills for invoicing inquires/problems, software operations, revenue analysis, statistical and operational and quarterly reports.
  • Computer skills for registration, patient related data input, invoicing, and report generation, including table and graph development.
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Public relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with WSIB, MVA and Extended Health Benefits billing an asset.
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
