Job Description

Position Information:Qualifications

  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to function as a team member within the department and to interact positively with other hospital departmental personnel
  • Satisfactory performance appraisals and attendance in current position
  • Physical ability to perform normal Porter functions, including transporting patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs
  • Sensitivity to patient and staff requirements
  • Ability to handle stress and adapt to position demands
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
  • Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check
  • Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization
