About the Position This will be a temporary position with an 18-month contract – January 2024 to August 2025 The Quality Supervisor will prepare and participate in regulatory GMP Audits. They will lead internal plant inspections per division requirements. They will also be the PCQI Coordinator making sure the Food Safety Program is maintained current, control points being managed, risk assessments and verifications are accurate and up to date. The Quality Supervisor will also provide Quality Food Safety trainings to new hires, contractors, and refresher training as needed while maintaining training records. This person will also coordinate the Pest Control Program which includes following up on recommendations and Corrective Actions. Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the quality and product safety programs to keep current and ensure compliance with ADM, Regulatory and customer requirements Oversee product recalls, carryover studies, uniformity studies, validation studies and traceability as necessary Oversight of sample retains and product testing Maintain product assay data in a shareable format/summary, compare analytical results to specifications. Investigate manufacturing errors and complete proper reports including yield instigations and CAPA reports Use deviation reports to support the disposition of the product Ensure quality and product safety checks are accurately completed to meet procedural requirements such as sequencing, bin checks, magnet checks, etc. Communication source to keep Operations and Commercial current on activities and issues Complaint Handling- Conduct complaint investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions while also providing recommendations and follow through with improvement opportunities Develop and maintain site specific work instructions Help develop new trainings and general oversight for training improvements Provide assistance to Regional/Division Quality manager upon request Other duties as requiredRequired Skills and QualificationsKnowledge of applicable regulatory requirements Knowledge of FSMA preferred SQF Practitioner Effective use of Microsoft Office applications Strong interpersonal skills to lead, coach, build consensus and lead change among a team of production/sales/quality colleagues Strong analytical problem solving/root cause analysis skills Proactive and results oriented Highly organized Team playerEducation or Work ExperienceBS Degree in Feed Science or related experience AND/OR 3+ years in quality experience in feed/food Related Industry KnowledgeAdditional InformationHistory of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements Up to 10% travel and overnight travel may be requiredIf you love the challenge of this dynamic career, then ADM will support and encourage your professional development and success.
