Job Description

Job Title: Casual Early Childhood EducatorOrganization: Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN) See www.signyorkton.caYorkton SK Canada Program: SIGN Early Learning Centre Hours: As required, Monday to Friday, between hours of 7am to 6pm Location: Yorkton, SK Start Date: As Soon As PossibleSIGN Early Learning Centre is seeking,* flexible, attentive and creative individuals to support and inspire early childhood development, learning and care. *The successful individuals will work within a team of Early Childhood Educators to meet the needs of the children through routines, play, meals and developmental opportunities, while maintaining the health and safety of all.* This is a casual position commencing as soon as possible and as needed.*Why work for SIGN

Expectations:
  • Ensure that safe work practices, policies and procedures are being followed
  • Interact with children safely and appropriately
  • Provide encouragement and support to all the children
  • Maintain an orderly and clean environment ensuring the safety of the children at all times
  • Help to deliver developmentally appropriate programming for children ages 18 months to 5 years of age which embraces the vision of “Play and Exploration”
  • Record and report pertinent information
  • Take an active part in training and professional development activities
