A cow/calf operation in the Yorkton Saskatchewan area is looking for a full time highly motivated individual to manage and oversee the day to day operation.This opportunity may also be suitable for a working couple.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : - All aspects of an approximate 600 pair cow/calf operation including pasture management, hay production, breeding programs, calving and cattle health- Operation and ongoing farm machinery upkeep, maintenance and repair.- Maintain and improve watering and fencing/corral systems- Plan and implement new and innovative ranch upgrade projects- Ensuring a safety-first work environmentRequirements include- High School diploma- Valid Drivers License- Excellent organizational and communication skills with proven problem-solving abilities- Minimum of 5 years relative work experience- Although not required a Post-Secondary education (degree or diploma) in Agriculture or related field would be beneficialSalary Range – Will depend on qualifications and relative work experience. $75,000- $90,000 per annum.A competitive benefits package is included after 3 months.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per yearSchedule:
