Job Description

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Fleet Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in Yorkton, SK. As a Fleet Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for directing trucking operations and fleet management for all 18 Pattison Ag locations. Working with the Trucking Manager you will optimize the trucking department and fleet management processes and efficiencies while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesThis individual’s responsibilities include:

  • Monitors, reports, and directs fleet maintenance utilizing fleet management software
  • Implements and provides training on utilization of fleet management software
  • Monitors and reports on Safe Driving, vehicle maintenance, driver hours, and other performance tracking of drivers
  • Maintains all Pattison Ag unit licenses and permitting needs
  • Assists and maintains schedule for all location trucking needs, and direct trucking department staff
  • Assists with invoicing, issues purchase orders and providing estimates
  • Recording and booking appointments for all unit maintenance and inspections
  • Assists in scheduling loads with outside carriers for factory pick up and delivery for Sales Department
  • Is aware of all government rules and regulations pertaining to Trucking Department for licensing needs including gpermnitting for over dimensional working with SK, MB & AB permit offices
Requirements
  • Demonstrates specialized expertise and knowledge in assigned fields (farm equipment and trucking industry)
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Well-organized, self-assured, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends and holidays as required
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Experience in fleet logistics and fleet maintenance organization
  • Knowledge of trucking and or agricultural industry is an asset
  • Previous administrative experience in transportation industry is an asset
