Required Qualifications, Skills & AbilitiesMechanically inclined with proven experience in servicing vehicles & forklifts & familiarity with servicing quads, golf carts an asset.Familiarity with jacks, including pallet jacks an asset. Strong willingness to learn & be trained.Ability to work independently or in a team.Ability to follow & carry out written and verbal instructions. Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision. Forklift certification an asset. Strong English skills required.Job DutiesOperate & maintain the organizations support equipment in & execute preventative maintenance. Support equipment includes trucks, trailers, lifts, pallet jacks, aircraft tugs, quads, golf carts.Oversee and maintain the operating facility including conducting regular facility checks using checklists; maintain &/or organize required maintenance. Responsible for facility general cleanliness. Responsible for hangar shutdown.Assist in unloading materials from shipments & move materials to work area; crate & oversee load of material for shipment.Maintain outdoor grounds area including cutting grass, plowing snow.Assist in the cleanliness of company & customer aircraft.Assist Aircraft Technicians with general duties as required.Other general labourer duties as required.When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:Strong mechanical aptitude.Fit with our companys culture.Trustworthy, honest, & dependable.Good work ethic.Strong organizational & time management skills.Ability to work independently & as part of a team.Ability to understand & follow verbal and written instructions.Valid & clean drivers license.Willingness to work shifts & occasional overtime to support operations.Willingness to work outdoors.Opportunity to become facility manager.Remuneration:Pay will be negotiated based on your experienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $13.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
