Manager, Banking Customer Service leads the frontline customer service team whose primary goal is to help clients with their day-to-day banking needs while becoming the source of information for where clients’ money is going and what it is doing. Demonstrating, coaching and mentoring your team to proactively identifying customer needs while driving sales and uncovering opportunities to be crucial to customer’s financial success by probing, product matching, problem solving and relationship building. This means also working closely with the commercial team.Team engagement & development. Utilizing your mentorship abilities through formal and informal coaching to help develop skills and confidence that enhances client relationships and grows the personal banking portfolios in a way that promotes enthusiasm.Process & operations. Using customer insights to drive and guide your implementations and maintenance of programs and procedures that ensure background administration, policy and regulatory requirements are running optimally and efficiently.Financial & analytical understanding. Applying your financial expertise and testing your accuracy while preparing and reviewing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that help communicate the progress, goals and strategic objectives of the branch.Foundational knowledge and experience to grow fromYou’ve spent about three years in a banking environment and may have had practice at mentoring a sales driven team . You’ve had exposure to what it takes to manage day-to-day cash operations in a branch and have some post-secondary education or equivalent experience and an understanding of debt and investment products .Capabilities that will take you furtherPeople first . You’ve spent about four to six years in a banking environment and have had storied practice at leading, mentoring and coaching high-performing sales driven teams. You’ve had ample experience managing day-to-day cash operations in a branch.Technically savvy.
