Job OverviewRAM Industries Inc. is an established manufacturing company seeking expertise to fill the role of a Payroll & Benefits Administrator. This is a part-time position, located in Yorkton, SK will be 20-25 hours per week with the flexibility to determine an agreed-upon schedule. This individual is responsible for all aspects of employee payroll and benefits processing and reporting, as per employee employment contracts and Company policies.ExperienceCanadian payroll & benefits administration experience. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Knowledge of Saskatchewan Employment Standards is beneficial. Experience with non-unionized/unionized and salary and hourly payroll is an asset. Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Duties· Timely & accurate preparation of salary/hourly payroll calculations to run a biweekly payroll· Coordinating all employee pay & benefits, including employee activations/deactivations, claims support, and related accounting· Maintaining accurate payroll records, employee files, and tracking systems· Preparing and distributing labour/payroll reports for internal and external reporting· Prepare & enter payroll journals into the company accounting system· Providing support to HR in recruitment, retention, and training activities· Other duties as assignedSkillsExperience in roles performing detail-oriented work where accuracy and timeliness are highly criticalAbove-average working knowledge of computers and common office software (particularly spreadsheets & payroll/accounting programs).
