RAM is a custom cylinder Company serving manufacturers in a wide range of industries across North America (www.ramindustries.com). We require a Sales Coordinator in our Yorkton SK office to help implement sales plans and meet Company growth objectives.Based out of our head office in Yorkton, this new position will work directly with customers, potential clients, sales team members, and factory support personnel. The primary role is to ensure current sales relationships are maintained while continually developing new business.Applicants require above-average written and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally with a wide range of individuals both inside and outside the Company. The ability to listen, learn, and identify which client opportunities are a fit for RAM’s business is crucial for this role. A selling background in technical products is preferred as sharing, presenting, and negotiating is a regular requirement in this position. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are necessary, as this individual must be self-motivated to work independently while recognizing their role within a team.Candidates will bring a successful background in sales; preferably where technical products are being sold. We will provide training on hydraulic cylinders, but past exposure to cylinders, fluid power, or mechanical systems is helpful, as it is important that you can credibly speak to manufacturers about the products we sell before our quoting and engineering team join in the conversation.Periodic travel to customer and prospect sites may be required to meet decision-makers, share information about RAM products and services, and learn OEM products and operations. As such, a valid passport and driver’s license are required.
