STORE MANAGER (FT)PARKLAND MALL - YORKTON, SKWe are looking for an interim Store Manager in our QUARKS store at the PARKLAND MALL to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and professional work environment. The ideal candidate must have days/nights/weekend availability. If you are someone who is reliable and excited about their work, this is the job for you!What you bring: · A positive attitude and strong work ethic.· Experience as a collaborative and respectful team player.· Your passion to succeed in a fast-paced customer service environment.· Your foresight in assessing and maintaining inventory, supply shortages and reports.· Your experience managing employees, providing coaching and mentorship to optimize productivity and increase sales.· Your experience maintaining store staffing with the ability to: recruit, select, orient and train employees; coach and develop, advise and guide; plan, monitor and appraise job results· Your natural leadership abilities; lead by example; coach employees as required· Your professional approach to addressing employee issues· Your experience arranging work and vacation schedules for employees ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times· Your knowledge and expertise with approving and submitting biweekly time sheets and commission reports· Your positive attitude and professional experience planning, organizing, directing and evaluating daily operations· Exceptional people skills and ability to build strong relationships· Excellent communication and listening skills· Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills· Strong computer skills· Experience with POS (point of sale) systemsWhat we’re looking for from you: · At least 2 years of retail store management experience is an asset however management experience in other industries will be considered· Experience managing 5 or more employees· Secondary school graduates or GED· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities· A positive attitude with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment· Computer skills: POS system, inventory control software, MS Office tools· A passionate and engaged brand ambassador· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada· Must successfully complete a criminal record check.The benefits of working at QUARKS: · Generous base salary plus bonus potential· Great benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, etc.)· Outstanding staff discounts.
