This role is responsible for responding to and supporting all customer groups with the installation and use of security alarm systems and associated equipment.Typical Duties:- Respond to all incoming correspondence or calls relating to installation or support of alarm equipment from dealers and customers.- Assist those customers by troubleshooting problems and escalating to the next level when required.- Record all actions taken in general inquiries, routine system tests and emergency situations by inputting them into the appropriate database.- Confirm instructions and procedures with customers, municipal agencies, designated responsible parties, dealers, contractors and others as necessary.The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalency and four related post-secondary classes in computer science, computer networking or a technology-based field of study. Previous experience within the security industry in a technical role and working knowledge and experience with personal computers from a hardware, software and networking perspective would be considered an asset.SecurTek offers a variety of opportunities for advancement within a supportive and challenging environment.
