The Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association (AWSA) is seeking the services of a full time Watershed Specialist. The AWSA is a non-profit organization that works with citizens, municipalities, government agencies, and other stewardship organizations on a variety of environmental and water management projects and programming within the Assiniboine River Watershed. A degree or diploma would be an asset. The candidate must be a leader with a strong work ethic that is dedicated, positive and energetic, with superior communication and organizational skills, and willing to undertake a wide variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in various forms of media for business promotion. Experience in non-profit funding and grant-writing is a definite asset.
