Job Description

Please note: You must reside in the Province of Nova Scotia to be considered for this job!Our Customer Service Specialists focus their exceptional problem-solving skills to assist callers regarding their hotel stays at any of over 1,400 properties across North America. To prepare you for this role, Cloud5 provides paid, comprehensive training which ensures that you will be able to care for each caller with the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.Pay and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to calls and/or emails from guests with concerns or issues involving their hotel stays
  • De-escalate upset callers with empathic demeanor and demonstration of authentic concern
  • Navigate multiple systems to gather information regarding guests concerns
  • Update ticketing systems with pertinent information related to reason for call or complaint
  • Use of standard technology: telephones, e-mail and web browsers
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of client policies and procedures
  • Completing all assigned training as necessary
Education and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to speak and read English fluently
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with de-escalating intense situations
  • Exceptional active listening skills
  • Exceptional soft skills including empathy and understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Must consent to and pass a criminal record check
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid work permit)
