Qualicare has immediate openings for HCA/ Caregivers in Red Deer!Company OverviewQualicare Calgary Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Health Care Aide (HCA)/ Caregivers in RED DEER.Qualicare offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families.Job SummaryThe HCA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow Care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

• HCA certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Class 5 Driver #39;s License and vehicle.
• Access to Internet/Mobile phone
