Job Description

Position: Kitchen AssistantReports to: Culinary Manager, GMAs a Kitchen Assistant, you will be working closely with the kitchen lead and the rest of the team to support our product efforts. This includes prepping of sandwiches and lunch items, testing new and existing products or ingredients, and preparing product for each day. In this role, you will have the chance to apply your problem-solving skills and showcase your knowledge of preparing food and principles! You will have opportunities to work on exciting R amp;D and item challenges and use your creativity and resourcefulness to achieve unique solutions. You may work odd hours on occasion, including evening shifts, to accommodate our customer and operational needs. There will be opportunities to grow your skills, learn our unique processes, and with time, develop into a subject matter expert! RequirementsRequirements, skills,amp; qualification:

  • Produce and prepare lunch items in a detailed and timely manner each day
  • Follow the flow chart for making different types of sandwiches/burgers
  • Hand over prepared food items to customers
  • Use the different utensils for assembly correctly
  • Refer to the daily prep list for food preparation
  • Follow all food safety protocols
  • Provide support to the kitchen team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Fully proficient in English
  • Flexibility with schedule changes and shift times
  • Other duties as needed
