Triple Eight Transport is an asset based carrier company with terminals in Abbotsford BC, Calgary AB, and Acheson AB. We focus on people and values, because with great people comes great success!Who we are looking for:Triple Eight Transport Inc. is looking for a talented and competitive Account Manager that will thrive in a sales environment. You’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as solid computer skills, time management, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for Developing profitable and long-term customers out of Canada and the United States by demonstrating a strong understanding and using proven track record of consultative and strategic selling. They must also have the ability to further develop and optimize current customer’s volume. This is a challenging role, perfect for a self starter looking to enter Sales!Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively develop business from new and current customers out of Canada and United States.
  • Coordinate and strategize with internal team members and departments to maintain high level of customer service.
  • Proactively develop potential opportunities with current customers and new developments within the industry.
  • Continue to drive current customs sales and / or revenue results as well as develop in depth portfolio of new customers and securing long term and seasonal business.
  • Investigate and track target customers, current service providers and potential volumes.
  • Assist in customer retention.
  • Comprehensive understanding or proactively learn customers supply chain strategies to drive further efficiencies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within company and customers. · Conduct regular service reviews with customers to ensure high levels of customer service are being achieved.
  • Prepare and provide reports weekly tracking progress and achievements of jointly developed KPIs.

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience would be required
  • Some post-secondary education is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada
