  • Degree, diploma, in business, commerce, procurement and contract management learning and development, risk management or law, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience analyzing complex procurement issues, evaluating options and recommending solutions.
  • Experience in the full procurement life cycle (including planning and acquiring goods and/or services to achieve business objectives). Preference may be given to applicants with 3 or more years’ experience.
Preference may be given to candidates with 1 or more of the following:
  • Experience in drafting tender solicitation documents for complex procurements that may be considered high profile, high risk, high dollar value and/or politically sensitive.
  • Experience in public procurement policy and Government procurement practices.
  • With professional accreditation such as the PMP and/or SCMP designations or those that have completed some or all courses of the BC Government’s Procurement and Contract Management Program (PCMP).
