Job Description

Position: Assistant Parts ManagerPosition Type: Full timeLocation: Abbotsford, BC"Service with pride, lead with confidence and inspire to impact others!"What Youre Passionate About:You play a key role in the management of the parts, inventory, and warehouse function of our operation. You take pride in problem solving and finding solutions for your customers. You bring your knowledge, leadership and positivity to the team, everyday!Responsibilities of the Assistant Parts Manager:

  • Develop and manage employee performance through training, coaching, evaluations, and succession planning
  • Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor parts sales (open orders, estimates, and contracts)
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and customer care
  • Manage inventory control (cycle counts, excess returns, emergency/critical orders, obsolescence)
  • Assist in the annual strategic and budget plans
  • Maintain and manage staffing levels in the department; parts, warehouse and logistics
  • Parts warranty management
What You Bring:
  • Post Secondary Education in Business, Sales or Marketing is an asset
  • Journeyman Parts Technician ticket is an asset
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to determine appropriate actions
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, people, and management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a parts department
  • Class 5 Drivers License
