Job Description

Casual Contract DriversFraserway RV is Canada’s largest vertically integrated RV Company. We are industry leaders in selling, servicing and renting recreational vehicles throughout Canada and as a team do everything possible to ensure our customers’ vacation dreams are realized.We are looking for casual contract drivers to move and pick up our motorhomes campers ,travel trailers across the US borderDUTIES:

  • Pick up motorhome, campers , trailer across US border (shuttle from Fraserway Abbotsford and drive back)
  • Make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries to PG, Kelowna, Kamloops, Airdrie, Edmonton, Leduc, Lacombe, and other locations across Canada .
  • Fully inspect the vehicle prior to beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Collect all proper authorizations prior to beginning route.
  • Conducting routine inspections (pre/post trip) on the vehicle
  • Any other items, as directed by the Manager
Camper and trailer pay varies as to where units will be delivered toRequirements:
  • Clean driver’s abstract – Class 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 – heavy trailer endorsement would be an asset for trailer pick ups
  • Able to cross the US/Canadian Border.
  • Valid passport or Enhanced DL, Cross-border clearance
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain professional disposition even when faced with difficult situations.
  • Able to complete routes safely in varied driving conditions (city/country/difficult weather).
  • Must have their own WCB insurance coverage
Due to the nature of the job and requirements to travel to and from US, candidates must be double vaccinated and have the ability to show proof of vaccination with the federal vaccination card.Must be able to do driver logs or have an app that can provide logs upon request.As we will be picking up campers from Yakima as well, must be familiar with and know how to use an ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and how to load and unload campers as well if towing a carrying camper trailer with a camper loaded onto the trailer, must know how to balance and distribute weight of the camper onto the carrying trailer.Be familiar and have previous experience towing a trailer (anywhere from 17’ long to 42’ long)Please apply indicating that you are applying as an contract driver and which location you are based out of along with your resume and driving abstract.Job Types: Contract, CasualQuick Apply
