Job Description

As the Clinic Manager, reporting to the Regional Director you will be responsible for providing your clinic with oversight of day-to-day operations and providing your team with supervision and support. This includes direct clinical work, hiring, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, counseling, and supervising personnel. You will support engagement and relationship building with the community, employees, families, and clients while promoting Monarch House’s mission, vision, and values. Take an inside look at what you will do each day:Direct clinic work (50% focus)

  • Responsible for actively managing a caseload, with a focus on providing direct treatment to children with autism.
  • Responsible for intake of new clients. Supports the intake process via communication of openings for service, intake meetings with families, and clinic tours.
  • Provide and implement strategies and systems for maintenance of quality services.
Managing an interdisciplinary team of clinicians (e.g. OTs, SLPs, BCBAs).
  • Support coaching, mentoring, and the growth and development of interdisciplinary clinical team members
  • Supporting personnel in adhering to and understanding of all Monarch House policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Supervising staff members implementing interventions to ensure optimal support for clients.
  • Act as hiring manager to support interviews and on-site onboarding activities, including coordinating and liaising with HR regarding staffing needs.
  • Coordinate student placements (diploma, undergraduate, graduate) for all departments.
Overseeing day-to-day clinic operations
  • Support and oversee the day-to-day interactions and management and supervision of personnel, clients, and families in the clinic.
  • Contribute to new directions for growth and development of Monarch House.
  • Accountable for the business performance of the clinic, ensuring key performance indicators meet or exceed plans.
  • Explain and strategize around week over week clinic performance and objectives.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff regarding client services, staff scheduling, and clinical assignment of hours for clinicians.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
  • Registered with a provincial College/Association (e.g. BACB, CSHBC, COTBC)
  • Have a minimum of a master’s degree
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Demonstrated experience working in a pediatric clinic, providing interventions and therapies for children with special needs is a must have
  • 2-3 years in a clinical and/or supervisory role
